About organization

The Rwanda Hospitality and Tourism Education Association (RHTEA) was born in 2008 and established on 9th August 2018 with some ten institutions as founder members. RHTEA is committed to training for service perfection through promotion and representation of the interests of players in Hospitality and Tourism Education sector in Rwanda.

The RHTEA is composed by 10 founder members from Higher Learning Institutions, TVET Schools, some Training companies/Consultant Firms. The association counts on other 5 members and others 19 ready to receive other potential members who are around 52 institutions with other Individual Consultants/Trainers

To become a hub of Excellence and solution provider for training of professionals in the area of hospitality and tourism in the region

Mission

To train for service perfection and take advantage of intra and inter-regional and international tourism training opportunities through advocacy and representation, skills development, market research and information sharing
