Who We Are

RHTEA is a member-based organisation of hospitality and tourism education practitioners committed to advancing and championing practical learning. The body was officially established by ten visionary institutions and since it has expanded to more than 30 members. These include universities and colleges, Technical and vocational education and training institutions, and consulting firms.

ANCHOR OF INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE

We actively participate in generation and promotion of relevant knowledge in hospitality as a foundation and core step in ensuring professionalism.

Teaching and learning

We collaborate to actively support and disseminate good practices and approaches to learning, teaching and assessment, which inform curriculum development.

Assessment and networking meet-ups

We meet annually to evaluate, share knowledge, and gather feedback from industry experts and partners.

Bridge to the industry

We work closely with our industry partners and other organisations to promote effective and beneficial links between industry and education for benchmarking which informs practice in the hospitality industry.
