How do Institutions benefit from being a member of RHTEA.
RHTEA was conceptualized in 2008 and officially established in 2018 to provide a forum for hospitality and tourism practitioners to engage in dialogue, share experiences, and disseminate information to further the development of hospitality education and support the hospitality industry.
Today, RHTEA membership consists of universities, Technical and vocational education and training institutions, and consulting firms, all of which have a vested interest in hospitality. Our purpose is to contribute to the professional development and status of hospitality management education by playing an active role in curriculum development that enhances practical learning for competent professionals.

Our objectives
To act as the independent hospitality industry education association in Rwanda. To encourage high standards in learning, teaching and research. To identify and communicate ‘good practice’, statistics and other information about qualifications in hospitality. To maintain links between education, employers and professional bodies.
